How the arab world view Trump

President Donald Trump

Since his inauguration day, president Donald Trump came with shocking decisions, as he says he is rectifying the mistakes of the last administration. So, how the arab world view president Trump.

Close partner

For many of the arab countries the image of Trump as a decision-maker and the man who is fearless to take action whether the right thing to do or not, is more beneficial for political and commercial goals, since the majority of the arab world share the aspect of "conservative government" that align thoroughly with the policies of the new US administration.
The arab citizens not too far in their thinking from their leaders,  as the mass media nowadays plays a pivotal role in order to shape the thinking of the audience.

Likewise the American citizens that are so divided concerning the direction of their country, between the Democrats and the conservatives, the arab world is , due to the globalisation effect, and the role of the Internet which spreads the information as fast as possible foster one general thinking , not like what the president Trump thought in his first term speech about the many differences between "us" and "them" that leads to impose a travel ban for six-muslim countries.

Conspirator

For many of the arab world the image of a conspirator and someone who is willing to seize any country to his dominion like winning a bargain or buying shares in a company still showing today very clear with his last decision to "buy" the strip of Gaza, and to move the people to another hosting country like Egypt and Jordan.

For many, it is maybe the most silliest policy that an American president can do, and just they give a little consideration, for others they take his speeches seriously,  as the conspiration theory is the dominant ideology on the Trump mind's and his party.

After the 7th of October we see how the reaction of the conservative party and his media like Fox news, supporting completely the state of Israel even before knowing the facts and how the right government of Benjamin Netanyahu demolished the Strip of Gaza completely searching for the " major heads " of Hamas by killing thousands of innocent babies.
The airstrikes  don't differentiate between man , woman or a child.

After the event of the 7th of October, when I heard about it in the Aljaazeera platform,  I thought that the Israeli government will take the right steps and not acting in revenge.
This is why we have seen the majority of the world countries supporting the right of Israel to defend itself,  defend not kill.
Now the majority of the western countries condemned the decisions of Netanyahu and his government and call  it a massacre and a crime against humanity.

Harsh policies against asylum seekers many of them from Syria due to the war, denying entry of citizens only because their race; separation policies ; deprivation of families to see their children, all those decisions give an idea of what future Trump holds for the immigrants and how those decisions can lead to a catastrophe for America and more division.
